Terms of Use for Healthcare Organisations
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the use of StethNet by hospitals, clinics, healthcare institutions, medical colleges, diagnostic organisations, healthcare companies, authorised recruiters and other eligible healthcare organisations (“Organisation”, “you” or “your”).
StethNet is operated by Stethnet (“StethNet”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Our correspondence address is Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
By completing organisation onboarding and selecting the agreement checkbox, the person creating the Organisation account agrees to these Terms on its behalf. An invited team member who accepts an invitation and selects the agreement checkbox agrees to comply with these Terms when using that Organisation account. Please also read our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle personal information.
1. Purpose of StethNet

- recruitment;
- job listings;
- applicant management;

- other related services introduced by StethNet.
StethNet is a technology platform and, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, is not the employer, employee, agent or representative of doctors discovered through the Platform.
2. Authority to Register an Organisation
The individual creating an Organisation account represents that:
- they are legally authorised to act on behalf of the Organisation;
- the Organisation genuinely exists;
- information supplied regarding the Organisation is accurate;
- required registrations, licences and permissions applicable to the Organisation are valid; and

4. Job Listings
Every job listing must be genuine and relate to a legitimate professional opportunity.
Job advertisements must not contain materially false, deceptive or misleading information.
Where applicable, listings should accurately describe relevant information such as:
- position;

- use discriminatory criteria prohibited by applicable law; or
- intentionally conceal material information for the purpose of misleading candidates.
5. Responsibility for Hiring
The Organisation is solely responsible for its ultimate recruitment and employment decisions.

- identity;
- qualifications;
- specialty credentials;
- employment history;
- references;
- background verification; and
- legal eligibility to perform the proposed role.
StethNet verification tools are intended to assist discovery and verification but do not replace the Organisation’s statutory, regulatory or professional credentialing obligations.
6. Employment Relationship
StethNet is not a party to an employment, consultancy, locum, partnership or other professional agreement entered into between an Organisation and a doctor unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
The Organisation is responsible for matters including:
- employment contracts;

- professional fees;
- taxes;
- statutory contributions;
- workplace policies;
- employee benefits;
- working hours;
- termination;
- credentialing;
- clinical privileges; and
- compliance with employment and healthcare laws.
Disputes arising from the employment relationship are principally between the Organisation and the doctor concerned.
7. No Guarantee of Candidate Suitability
StethNet does not guarantee that any candidate:

Recruitment decisions must be based on the Organisation’s independent assessment.
8. Use of Doctor Information
Information obtained through StethNet may be used only for legitimate purposes consistent with the Platform and applicable law.

- commission;
- rebate;
- referral fee;
- kickback;
- bonus;
- revenue share; or
- other financial benefit
in return for procuring, directing or referring patients for medical, surgical, diagnostic or other healthcare treatment.
Payments for legitimate employment, professional services or StethNet recruitment services must not be disguised patient-referral payments.
10. Patient Data
The Organisation must not upload patient records or identifiable patient information to StethNet unless:
- the particular StethNet feature expressly requires such processing;
- the processing is lawful;
- the Organisation has the necessary authority; and

Ordinary recruitment and networking features should not be used to transmit patient medical records.
11. Communications With Doctors
Organisations may communicate with doctors regarding legitimate professional matters such as:
- employment opportunities;

Messaging tools must not be used for harassment, spam, deceptive marketing, unlawful solicitation or other prohibited purposes.
12. Organisation Content
The Organisation remains responsible for information and content it publishes.
By uploading content, the Organisation grants StethNet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, process and display such content to the extent necessary to operate, secure, promote and improve the Platform.

When an employee, recruiter or representative ceases to be authorised, the Organisation must promptly remove or disable their access.
Account credentials must not be sold, transferred or shared with unauthorised third parties.
14. Fees and Payments
Certain recruitment or organisational features may require payment.
Pricing, taxes, validity periods and applicable limits will be displayed in the relevant subscription, job-posting or commercial terms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- payment purchases access to the relevant StethNet service;
- payment does not guarantee applications;
- payment does not guarantee interviews;
- payment does not guarantee recruitment; and
- payment does not guarantee retention of a recruited candidate.
Paid plans renew monthly. You may cancel a subscription through the billing page; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are reviewed case by case, subject to applicable law. Any separate written commercial agreement may set additional payment terms.
15. Independent Relationship
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment relationship, joint venture or agency between StethNet and the Organisation.
The Organisation may not represent that StethNet endorses, operates or owns the Organisation unless expressly authorised in writing.
16. Platform Moderation
StethNet may investigate suspected misuse of the Platform.

Such measures may be taken where reasonably necessary because of fraud, misleading listings, user complaints, regulatory concerns, unlawful conduct, security risks or breach of these Terms.
17. Privacy and Data Protection
StethNet will process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data-protection laws.
Where the Organisation independently processes personal information received through StethNet, the Organisation acts under its own legal responsibilities and must maintain appropriate safeguards.
The Organisation represents that any personal information it uploads to StethNet has been collected and shared lawfully.
These Terms do not replace notices, consent mechanisms or contractual arrangements independently required under applicable data-protection law.
18. Intellectual Property
The StethNet software, interface, databases, trademarks, logos, design and proprietary technology belong to StethNet or its licensors.
The Organisation may not:
- scrape the Platform;

Termination does not remove obligations or liabilities that accrued before termination.
23. Changes to These Terms
StethNet may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, regulation, business operations or Platform functionality.
Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
